A currency pair shows the value of one currency against another. The first currency is the base and the second is the quote. If EUR/USD is quoted at 1.1000, one euro costs 1.1000 US dollars.
When you buy a pair you are buying the base currency and selling the quote currency. When you sell a pair, the reverse happens. Prices move with interest rates, economic data, central bank decisions and world events.
At VestFX you can trade currency pairs on the web platform, MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The pairs available to you are listed in the market watch of your platform.
